JXTA Programming / Shell related problem?
using JXTA 2.5 so far I can communicate between two different peers via JXTA API(Programming) or via Shell(by providing commands to JXTA Shell.) using pipes, tcp, BIDI pipes e.t.c.

my problem is that if I use JXTA programming, the client and server communicate with each other fascinatingly but if I tried to view their advertisement on Shell I cant (that means the client and server are communicating on this local machine and has nothing to do with world peer group) may be my knowledge is not so much in this technology as i am new here so plz ignore any stupid statement.

Goal of my work is to make group which will have one or more Rendezvous peers servicing the client peers about advertisements so that client peers can communicate with each other.
I read all JXTA Programming guide(2.5) and run its examples but they are for single pc i mean the same problem they have. thats why i cant find any concrete idea to cover up this hurdle.

can you plz help me to solve this problem in any case. further if you have any example / tutorial (JXTA code) by which I can check its advertisements on Shell

How long can I walk my 3 month old puppy?
I have a 3 month old Lab/Queensland Heeler mix. He loves going for walks with me and is great at it, doesn’t pull on the leash and is always at my side. I want to give him the best life possible. How long can he go for a walk on a street/ sidewalk setting??? He doesn’t get much exercise at home because we have a small yard. Also when I am gone he is in his kennel so when I am home I want him to get all the exercise he needs. Is taking him for an hour walk to long at this stage of his life???
Thank you to all that responded but I took the advice of as a vet. I called our vet and she said as long as he is on a leash and runing he can go up to 3 milese without causing any problems in the future. Because he is a large breed and has lots of energy she said it is actually really good for hime to due the long walks. Again thank you to all who responded.
Sorry meant to type that as long as he was on a leash and NOT runing he is fine.

I would stick to short walks. No more than 15-20 minutes.

I have two puppies (very small breed) and when they were 3 or so months old I stretched their regular walk to an hour/mile+ walk a couple times and found that to be a little too long for them.

I don’t think slightly overlong walks pose any health risk to your puppy - like interfering with their growth or causing joint damage in old age.

Add - with the greatest of respect, looking at your edit, your vet is nuts!! But if you want a dog that potentially is going to need veterinary attention in later life …. go for it. 3 miles at 3 months? That’s crazy ……. I wonder how many dogs this vet has had in her life. You would be far, far better speaking to A BREEDER about this - honestly!

I also have some extra tips. When you walk your dog and because it is snowing there is salt on the road you might want to be a little careful. My dog is fine with the salt but some of my friend’s dogs have been known to get irritation from running on the salt. Also make sure they don’t eat it!

When you walk in the summer, sometimes the asphalt can get REALLY hot and if that happens just let your dog walk on cool grass for the rest of the walk. Or I think they have some kind of boots for them at pet stores but I’m not a really big fan of that.

Oh and those frustrating snow clumps your dog gets after he runs around in the snow. They stick to his paws so you would want to carry him inside so the floor doesn’t get covered in them xD. And then just submerge his paws in warm water and the snow clumps will melt of. Then just towel dry the paws for as long as you’d like.

Skipping your period?!?
I’m on the pill and have been for about 4 years. I read that if you start your new pill pack right after the 3rd week (skipping the 4th week) then it skips your period. My period was going to fall right over Christmas last month, so I decided to skip it (i mean who really wants to deal with their period when you’re surrounded by a fifty family members.) I did this one other time and it worked fine with no problems. Right now I just discovered I’m having spotting though. I havent missed any pills and I take them at the same time every day, so I’m wondering if this can have anything to do with me skipping my period last month? Or could it be something else?
